This policy covers KARRCPAU Consulting, LLC and what we do with information you give us through this website or in the course of an engagement.

What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and the property address, given through the form on this site or to us directly.
  • Claim information — your policy and claim numbers, the documents and photographs relating to your loss, and our own notes, inspection records and estimates.
  • Consent records — whether you have agreed to be contacted by text, email or phone, when you agreed, and who recorded it.

What we do with it

We use it to do the work: to assess your loss, prepare or review an estimate, contact you and the other parties to your claim, and produce the reports and awards the process requires.

Working a claim means sharing information with the parties to it — your insurance carrier, the opposing appraiser, an umpire, and where relevant your attorney or contractor. That is what an appraisal is. We share what the engagement requires and no more.

Text messaging — and what we never do with it

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are never sold or rented, and are never passed to anyone for their own use. See our Text Messaging Terms.

Message frequency varies — it depends on what is happening on your claim, and a typical engagement involves fewer than five messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent your information to anybody.
  • We do not send you marketing texts, and we do not let anyone else send you any.
  • We do not publish your claim details. What appears on this website about past work is either the firm's own description or a review a client chose to write publicly.

How it is held

Claim files are held in our own case management system, on servers we control, reachable only by named members of this firm signing in. Documents are stored encrypted. Access is recorded.

How long we keep it

We keep claim files for as long as the engagement and our professional and legal obligations require, and then no longer than necessary.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to be contacted by any channel, at any time. Reply STOP to a text, or contact us using the details below.
